Description: Nehemiah Green is a conceptual affordable/supportive housing project that integrates new construction into an existing NYCHA campus. RKTB's 13-story, 113,000 SF building for seniors includes set-asides for residents with histories of illness and substance abuse disorders. It was designed to allow seniors to age in place with comfort, dignity, and safety, and is also slated to receive Passive House certification. Sustainability features include a hydroponic farm in the cellar.
