Description: PS 730K is a new five-story school for grades three through five in a largely residential neighborhood. Its rainscreen exterior offers a practical solution to a number of challenges inherent to the site and also delineates the building elements in a way that breaks down the mass of the building, relating it more closely to the surrounding community.
