Description: Salem House is a new, seven-story, mixed-use project in central Harlem designed for Phipps Houses that combines commercial and community facilities with a variety of affordable residential apartments of one to three bedrooms. The block-and-plank structural system is used in a new way that allows for large expanses of windows in the living rooms.
