INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECT / ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Join our practice as an Intermediate Architect / Architectural Designer for the opportunity to learn and build a rewarding career. This position will focus on the DESIGN AND TECHNICAL aspects of educational and multi-family housing projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Desired Qualifications
  • A motivated, well organized, self-starter eager to learn and share.
  • Completion of a five or six-year architectural degree program.
  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience with good drafting and visualization skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong Revit and AutoCad skills.

INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECT / ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Join our practice as an Intermediate Architect / Architectural Designer for the opportunity to learn and build a rewarding career. This position will focus on the CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION aspects of educational and multi-family housing projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Experience and Qualifications
  • A motivated, well organized, self-starter eager to learn and share.
  • Completion of an architectural degree program.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience with good drafting and visualization skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong Revit and AutoCad skills.

Consideration will be given to a candidate demonstrating strong capabilities and experience in undertakings in Architect's Construction Administration services. Similar experience will be understood to include, but not be limited to:

  • Site visits while work is in progress, to resolve critical design issues in the field, to observe the site and work, to familiarize itself with the general progress and quality of the work.
  • Reviewing and approving, rejecting or taking other appropriate action upon the Contractor's submittals and maintain a record of each submittal.
  • Preparing drawings, specifications and other documentation and supporting data in connection with Change Orders.
  • Answering RFI's, reviewing NCR's.
  • Preparing punch lists for completion of the Work by Contractors.
